Naive

Surreal... no really, it is

Naive

Neave

Hmm.. having had a look at those retro (very cool) arcade games I thought I'd have a nose through the rest of the site... I strongly advise you do the same. A truly wonderful piece of programming and thought process... wow.

Boing Boing!

I'm always out for a new link or site to frequent... and through WWdN I found Boing Boing - a very funny site full of stories and great links. Check it out!

On there I've found this (boys from LOTR kissing.. very odd indeed) and this (retro arcade games on your desktop) and various other titbits of info...

It DID snow!

Even here in Portsmouth. Horrible it is too. I have some pics that I will upload later... evil, hateful, snow.

Urban Dictionary!

Very nice... a kind of real world dictionary Here!

Learn to pay... Pay to learn

Mr. Blair and friends (coming soon to a TV screen near you) won their University Fee's war last night by just 5 votes (311 against, 316 for). I'm not especially suprised at the result - though it could not have been much closer.

But get this.... if the fees are not paid by the students 65th birthday then they'll be cleared.

65th birthday! That's to say the fee's will end up being so large that people will literally be taking that debt to their grave. A 3 year course with £3k per year on top of £4k (max) loans and general expenses could mean £20k/£30k easily...

I don't agree - but then I don't want to pay through MY taxes either. I paid for all of my education (outside of school) myself. I earned some money then learn't a little. Nothing wrong with that - but it was my choice.

You live, you learn.

It snowed! Or... did it?

This country is an odd place - honestly, such a fuss over really cold rain.

It snowed, here in Portsmouth (area) at around 4am. Big woo. I didn't see it (and have no proof of it).

Oh well. Guess I best get on with my life.

Lord of the Rings

I've seen em all... and I love them. I cannot wait until the extended-extended-extended version is out and in my DVD collection. Not entirely sure whether I can sit for 12/14 hours straight but I can try ;o)

And for anyone who hasn't read the book - I urge you to. The ending is even LONGER in the book (a whole chapter in fact). Enjoy!

Trailers... more more more!

Starsky and Hutch - Oh I can't wait!
Anchorman - Just proving that Will Ferrell is a very funny man
Boundin' - A new Pixar short... very clever people - I want their job(s).

I love cinema!

A moral dilemma (you've heard it...)

Here's a dilemma for you....

Answer on your honour and dignity- what would you do?

This test only has one question, but it's a very important one. Please don't answer it without giving it some serious thought. By
giving an honest answer you will be able to test where you stand morally. The test features an unlikely, completely fictional situation, where you will have to make a decision one way or the other.

Remember that your answer needs to be honest, yet spontaneous.
Please scroll down slowly and consider each line - this is important
for the test to work accurately.

You're in Florida, USA...In Miami, to be exact... There is great chaos going on around you, caused by a hurricane and severe floods. There are huge masses of water all over you.

You are a CNN photographer and you are in the middle of this great disaster. The situation is nearly hopeless. You're trying to shoot very impressive photos. There are houses and people floating around you, disappearing into the water. Nature is showing all its destroying power and is ripping everything away with it.

Suddenly you see a man in the water, he is fighting for his life,
trying not to be taken away by the masses of water and mud. You move closer.

Somehow the man looks familiar.

Suddenly you know who it is - it's George W. Bush!

At the same time you notice that the raging waters are about to take
him away, forever. You have two options. You can save him or you can take the best photo of your life.

So you can save the life of George W. Bush, or you can shoot a Pulitzer prize winning photo, a unique photo displaying the death of one of the world's most powerful men.

And here's the question (please give an honest answer):

Would you select colour film, or would you rather go with the simplicity of classic black and white?
