What a hectic few months! Yes, I suck at blogging. I used to be rather good.

So what's new?

Well - I've been working hard on two jobs, getting my VMWare qualification (done!), selling my house (done!) and generally running around like a blue arsed fly.
I even managed a holiday.

So what else? Um. Halo? Yes, Halo. It rules. You should go play it... oh, you already have? And completed it? K... Um....

Best get back to work then!

Running: Week5

Well this week was another 6 miler - and I was a bit off pace. Just a smidge over the 40 minutes. Still, I wasn't feeling great.
Tomorrow - more of the same...

'New' Deloreans?

Well, DMC will already build you a car from New Old Stock - but this sounds more a like they'll manufacture the parts themselves. Doable, but costly I suspect.
I wonder if it'll have the updated parts (new dash, wheels etc)?
I look forward to seeing this...

We're certainly not holding our collective breath on this one, but according to an article put out by the Los Angeles Times, the cult classic DeLorean automobile just might be resurrected. Reportedly, the DeLorean Motor Company" is laying plans to bring the car back into limited production, and while it'd be easy to brush aside this whimsical scheme, 2007 certainly has been good to vintage automobiles made new. Apparently, the supply of cars suitable for rebuilding is quickly dwindling, and if everything pans out, DMC could possibly produce "20 or so cars a year." Of course, there's simply no way to tell how legitimate these expectations are, but here's to hoping for a brand new gull-winged whip in the not-too-distant future. Okay, so it's a few weeks in - but so far it's going well. My times are more accurate this week as I remember the times. Yes, that's actually quick (for me) but it's hard work keeping that pace so I think 7 through 10 miles will be slower. But on the day? (Great South) who knows...
Last night was very wet, but not windy. I prefer the rain to the wind any day of the week - but it's not all that nice being soaked through while running. Still, I managed a 1 hour, 22 minute run last year in the wet so this year I'll be happy if I get the same or under (conditions allowing). My calves, for once, aren't sore either. :)

Intentionally, or otherwise, I want to know as well!

It's all about...me

The post below didn't appear until now - I don't know why but Blogger was being particularly painful and simply wouldn't play ball. So I gave up. In fact it's being playing up since the Beta went Final. Probably the setup with my site.

Anyway - Billing is over and the weather was superb for us. Many a lobster onsite and the car got a lot of attention. Hopefully pictures will be here soon :)

Speaking of which - the Monaro now has her exhaust, ripshifter and road response pac all fitted. Goes and handles like it should have from the factory. Sounds faaaaantastic! I may record it in fact as it's so darn wonderful :D
